About project

The office was designed for a team of an architecture studio – for creative people. Therefore, the space around had to be as friendly and comfortable as possible, fostering a creative atmosphere.

The attic space equipped with open structural elements in the form of beams and columns gave an idea of using the loft style for interior design.

Brick was chosen for the decoration of some walls. This brick was bought out during the dismantling of the 19th century estate. Some of the bricks still retain their original stamps. It inspires to create an interior that can become a part of history.

In contrast to the warm brick, the black wooden strips are used. The highest wall is highlighted by them. Led linear lights and stabilized moss give more emphasis.

The florarium was used to make the environment more comfortable and to divide the space. Bright contrasting colors like blue and yellow make the space more lively.

Natural wood slabs and painted metal elements were used for our custom-made furniture. It is also in line with the loft ambience. The atmosphere is also delivered by several light scenarios: directional light sources (in a meeting room) and atmospheric lighting – about 80 Edison bulbs

Plans

Area 350 m ², usable area 250 m². The task was to fully combine the work of three companies, get as much light as possible while dividing the office into functional zones. Organizing 10 places with wide aisles for comfortable work was the key challenge. Since 6 doors of the main room make it absolutely transit, the space is organized by the method of island zones. The florarium separates the public area from the working area. The entrance to another organization is conventionally separated by a swing. There is an island for informal communication, a coffee point, a meeting room, a cloakroom and a library of materials.
