About project
The office was conceived not only as a place for work but also as a hallmark of the company. Clients, partners, arriving at the office should see its level – this sets the bar. We wanted to maintain the image of the company with an elegant, laconic, austere but modern design. It’s interesting to note that 180-year-old brick, used to decorate the meeting rooms, captures the spirit of the construction company.
Plans
Area 850 m². The main planning challenge from the client was to create a spacious reception area without losing the functionality of the office. Since, initially, there was almost no space for reception, a zone in the central part of the office was taken for this purpose and a soft waiting area niche was also designed. To make the space look larger, all the partitions connected to the reception are transparent, the wardrobe at the reception is hidden, internal and doesn’t take up space. Partitions recessed into the floor (the floor coating comes up to the glass) play the same role – this technique erases the boundaries of the floor. The recessed ceiling emphasizes the height.
